If you are planning to leave your country, unsure where to start, or need guidance on how to do it, you can join our Office Hours.
Office Hours is a weekly, open Google Meet video call with Trans Rescue staff, where you can:
- Ask questions
- Get general guidance
- Talk about leaving. Many folks come just for assurance that they’re not crazy, they are actually fleeing their country.
- Talk through your situation
- Understand your options
This is especially helpful for people in countries of new concern (such as the US, UK, or similar), where relocation is possible but requires planning.
What Office Hours Is Not
Office Hours is not:
- Emergency support – “I’m homeless and in trouble”
- Rapid Response – “the local police are after me, I’m in a place where being trans is illegal”
- Direct relocation coordination – “I am in Saudi Arabia and need help getting to another country”

What to Expect

- A chance to ask questions safely
You are not required to share personal details if you are not comfortable. It’s a video call, but leaving your camera off is fine.
Before You Join
Make sure:
- You are in a safe place to speak
- Your device and connection are secure
- You avoid sharing sensitive personal details in a group setting
