We're Trans Rescue. We Save Lives.
We are a global, volunteer-run organisation helping transgender, intersex, and queer people escape life-threatening danger and reach safety.
We rescue people trapped in some of the world’s most dangerous environments—including countries where being LGBTQ+ is illegal or life-threatening. To date, we have helped over 186 people reach safety.
At the same time, we support people in places that are becoming less safe—helping them plan and carry out their own relocation before things get worse.
We don’t just give advice.
We help people get out.
Help me move to safety
In some countries, being LGBTQ+ can mean imprisonment, violence, or worse. If you are in one of these environments, we may be able to help you reach safety.
We prioritise the most urgent and high-risk cases.
Some countries are becoming less safe, even if they were previously considered secure.
If you are in places such as the US or UK, we may not be able to provide direct relocation, but we offer:
- Guidance and planning support
- Weekly Office Hours where you can get help planning how to get out.
- Resources to help you relocate independently - a wide variety of articles, videos, and our How To Get Out book.
